Celebrating the Legacy and Chop On

On February 11, 2020 The Atlanta Braves hosted The Other Boys of Summer at The Gathering Spot. 200+ guests enjoyed an evening of art, film, food and festivities. Braves President/CEO Derek Schiller welcomed the guests and introduced the film. Many MLB alumni were in the house including Marquis Grissom, Gary Matthews, Marvin Freeman, Brian Jordan and Delino Deshields. We were joined by the baseball teams from Morehouse College and Clark Atlanta University. Following the film there was a panel discussion featuring Bob Kendrick, President of the Negro Leagues Baseball Museum, Lauren Meyer, Filmmaker/Director and Adrian Williams, Sr. Director Diversity & Community for The Braves.

Shout out to Shaheed Rucker (change-makers creative agency) and Cam Kirk and their teams for curating and sharing original art that raised the bar and inspired the crowd.
