Atlanta is hoppin'

We spent the week in the ATL celebrating the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Negro Leagues. After kicking it off with The Braves, we met with the Metro Atlanta Chamber to talk about Diversity & Inclusion and bringing the program to the community. We wrapped up the trip with a program for AT&T where Bob Scott (player for the NY Black Yankees and Memphis Red Sox) joined in person and shared some of his experiences playing alongside of Jackie Robinson and rooming with Willie McCovey in Sandersville, GA before McCovey got the call to the show.

AT&T's Black Employee Network (The NETwork) hosted the event that took place in person in Atlanta and was streamed to offices around the country. Employees outside of Atlanta participated remotely and had the chance to ask questions to the panel. The NETwork BICP (Black Intergrated Communication Professionals) is over 11K members strong and celebrated their own milestone last year as they turned 50.
